As a unified front, the Reidsville Industrial Alliance is working to redefine what it means to be a local corporate citizen.
Founded by the City of Reidsville, the Reidsville Chamber of Commerce and Tri-State Steel, the alliance is a grassroots effort by local industries to build a network, face challenges cooperatively and create a more dynamic working environment and living community.
So far, the group has hosted three quarterly meetings.
“We started it by just sending out emails to corporations, to our contacts, the people we knew in corporations, and said, ‘Hey, we want to do this. Would you be interested?” said Tri-State Steel President Steve Scott. “Our first meeting was in October and it was incredibly successful, much more than I thought off the get go.”
